I had a chance to use Canon's 70-200L F2.8 for a bit and man, what a wonderful piece of glass. The clarity is outstanding, the USM is dead silent, the focusing is quick and painless, and the consistent 2.8 across the entire range is just to die for. This is the first piece of "L" glass that I have had a chance to use and I don't think I can go back!
